Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience.
Understanding Customer Needs: Engage with customers to identify their needs and provide helpful product recommendations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a fast-paced, energetic team to keep the store running smoothly.
Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is tidy, organised, and visually appealing at all times.
Stock Management: Assist with stocking shelves, managing deliveries, and making price changes as required.
Till Operation: Be responsible for operating the till and processing transactions.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our products to offer customers helpful advice and suggestions.
Required Skills:
Retail Experience: Previous experience in retail is essential.
Customer Engagement: Confident and personable when interacting with customers.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where your shifts may vary based on business needs.
Sales Skills: Ability to demonstrate products and encourage upselling where appropriate.
Organisation Skills: Strong organisational skills to maintain stock and ensure the store is always presentable.
Additional Experience (desirable but not essential): Experience in areas such as Toys and Games, Models, Radio Control Vehicles, War Gaming, or Model Railways.
Additional Information:
Weekend Work Required: You may be asked to work weekends as part of the role.
Staff Bank: As a member of our Staff Bank, you will be called in to cover shifts on an as-needed basis, providing flexibility to suit your availability, but with no fixed hours guaranteed.
